Major League Fishing Bass Pro Tour Stage One
Airs on Discovery Channel
If you got excited when the Major League Fishing tour hit Lake D’Arbonne, Caney Lake and Bussey Brake this winter, you can relive those moments, starting this weekend. The MLF Bass Pro Tour will begin airing on the Discovery Channel featuring Northeast Louisiana in the Stage One episodes.
The Stage One Knockout Round will air on September 3rd at 7 am and the Stage One Championship Round will air on September 10th at 7 am. These events marked the first time a MLF event has taken place in the Monroe-West Monroe area.
Lakes featured in the episodes will include D’Arbonne, Caney Creek, and Bussey Brake. This six-day event kicked off in February this year and showcased over 80 professional anglers from across the world competing across seven regular season tournaments across the country.
“Major League Fishing provided a great partnership and delivered a home run for our community. Ouachita Parish, our neighboring lakes, and the state of Louisiana received overwhelmingly positive exposure via MLF social media, live stream, and Discovery Channel. We look forward to the day Major League Fishing is back in our community soon,” said Scott Bruscato, Discover Monroe-West Monroe Vice President of Sales.
