K&M Coffee, Corks and Camo isn’t just a bait stand on the shores of Lake D’Arbonne where you can stop and pick up some shiners, crickets and a bag of ice. Oh sure, you can do that, too. It’s a one-stop sportsman’s shopping spot plus a great place to eat. It’s the kind of place this lake has needed in downtown Farmerville for a long time. Hats off to owners Kenny and Marcy Kavanaugh for what they are doing for the community. A prime example is their partnering with Greg Hicks to score area hunter’s deer every Tuesday night during the season. It’s even a fun deal to come and watch even if you didn’t kill a deer. And it also helps call more attention to the new parish big buck contest (more below).
Kenny and Marcy also listen to customers and travel around trying to find the latest and greatest to stock in the store. They recently traveled to the big Mr. Crappie Classic in Missouri to scout out all the exhibits and new products. Their efforts to be in on everything promoting the lake has also made a name for them and the store.
