Get a ticket; Get a buck

The Union Parish Chamber of Commerce is once again sponsoring the Big Buck Contest again this year. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for young hunters (17 and under) in the new Youth Division.

First, second and third place winners will be recognized for Adult & Youth Divisions with winners will receive trophies and cash prizes.

The winners will be recognized at the ​2020 Sportsman’s Expo February 6, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. at the Farmerville Recreation Center. In addition to recognizing the big buck winners and enjoying good, old fashioned barbecue, there will be a live auction, silent auction, and raffles. All items and prizes will be geared toward sportsmen and sportswomen of all ages.

Big Buck tickets can be purchased at the Chamber office or at the following locations: K&M Coffee, Corks & Camo, Thomas Nursery, North Point, Dean Processing, Tiger Bend Outdoors, Rocky Branch Processing, Dubach Deer Factory, Linville Wild Game, Bill Breed, Peyton McKinnie

2018 Big Buck Contest Winners
There’s a lesson here: There were a lot of quality bucks harvested this past deer hunting season, but many hunters didn’t have a Big Buck Contest tickets. Be sure to buy your tickets before you go hunting to be eligible!

* Micah Anderson – 107 7/8″ taken 12/27/2018
