
Corey Harris netted the big bass of the Majestic Bass Tournament on Caney Lake this weekend, a 9.14 lunker. He also netted the biggest five-fish stringer, weighing 24.43 pounds. That meant he also netted the big check for the weekend: $1,000 ($500 for each of those finishes). That’s some pretty good fishbait money!

Harris wasn’t the only one to land big ones. James Williams finished second in big bass with an 8.32; Billy Hakes was third with an 8.17 and Bruce Frost finished fourth with a 7.26.
Bib bass for each hour of the marathon bass day out of Hooks Marina were also paid with cash for their catches.
