Shhhh.. Don’t tell anybody, but slab crappie aren’t the only big fish in Lake D’Arbonne. That becomes apparent every summer when Dale Taylor hosts the annual Majestic Big Bass Classic Tournament on the big lake. Can you catch an 8, 9 or 10 pound bass in D’Arbonne? Yes, you can.
In what is great news for the area’s bass fishermen, Dale has scheduled the 2019 Majestic to be held JUNE 1st and 2nd out of Ludwig Marine. Dale moved the D’Arbonne tournament back a week after a recent change with the Ronald McDonald event put their tournaments on the same weekend. The McDonald tournament will be held June 8-9, 2019 on the Ouachita River.

Look for an announcement for a possible upcoming “MAJESTIC” to be held on Caney Lake this summer as well!
