If there’s a “home court” advantage to fishing in the American Crappie Trail professional tournament on the Ouachita River Friday and Saturday, we’re listing some of the “local” teams that would have it (“local” in this case meaning guys a short trailer pull away from the river as in Area Code 318).
Teams from Area 318 are in it to win it. They include some names that are pretty familiar in tournament ranks and a few folks that are just getting started in big-time tournaments like this. Keep a special eye out on for these folks at the weigh-ins at Forsythe Park beginning at 3 p.m. each day:
These teams are Wes Barmore and Mark Theodis; Travis Brown and Dale Roberts; Steve
Danna and Bobby Burns; Chris Fields and Dusty McGehee; Charlie and Heath Fitzgerald; Palmer Frost and Billy Rogers; Jason Thomas and Scotty Johnson; James and Chuck Morgan; Ken Myers and Mark Taylor; Ron Nobles and John Shannon; Stuart Baum and Steve Perotti; Shannon Porter and Trey Underwood; Steve and Glenda Pylant;
Also, Matt Saterfiel and Peyton Hemphill; Brandon Jennings and J.D. Henry; Lance Bilberry and Heath Rogers; Dustin Taylor and Josh Colvin; Ronnie Turner and Roy Weaver; Shane Walker and Daryl Williams and Nick and Jock Young.
Thanks to the American Crappie Trail for supplying us with names of the local and area folks in the tournament. Good luck to you! It’s going to be a really busy weekend on the river so put safety first out there!
And in case you missed it, here’s more information on this week’s tournament from yesterday’s lakedarbonnelife.com post:
