Crappie happiness; crappie madness

Crappie Happiness:  The ” Crappie Fishermen United Of Louisiana ” have chosen February 18, 2017 as their next tournament date and they are coming home to where it all started, Lake D’Arbonne.

Pre-spawn fishing should be excellent and the event will give anglers a chance to hone their competitive skills a week before the big professional Crappie Masters tournament which is coming Feb. 24-25.

This event will be an 8 pole or less event. Live or artificial baits are allowed with up to two anglers per boat. There is a $40 per boat entry fee which can be prepaid at one of the three pay stations — Honey Hole , Taterbugs  or Toledo Tackle. The tournament organizers
