It’s the third summer crappie get-together for the Crappie Fishermen United of Louisiana, a mostly-local group of crappie chasers that will be back on the Ouachita River September 24th out of Joe Bob’s.
Here’s the official rundown: 8 pole or less; live bait or artificial baits; 1 or 2 people per boat; $40.oo entry fee per boat; fishing time 7 am to 1 pm; weigh in at Joe Bobs parking area starting at 2pm (must be in line no later than 2:30 pm no exceptions).
Paying biggest crappie, biggest trash fish and top 5 places on best 7 crappie with minimum size of 9inches; payback depends on boat count; boundary waters will be D’Abonne Bayou and Ouachita River and any and all tributaries in between as long as can access by boat from water.
