Lake D’Arbonne continues a steady fall. The USGS chart is up and running again this morning. As of 12:45 p.m. Monday the lake is at 85 feet. The crest was on Saturday at 89.89.
The USGS information has been an invaluable tool during this flooding, first by predicting the amazing rise and now by letting us keep up with the fall. Be safe out there and don’t take chances during the cleanup. Sadly, one man in Natchitoches Parish has already drowned trying to save property from a flooded house.
