Normally, we would be getting all up in arms at Lake D’Arbonne if the lake was reaching 84.5 feet. Now, we’re rejoicing that it is there instead of 90 feet!
The lake continues to fall. The USGS graph showed it at 84.5 feet at the 8 p.m. reading. It’s predicted to get to the bearable 82.0 foot level late Friday.
UNION PARISH: Sheriff Dusty Gates is asking anyone who has property in Union Parish that was damaged as a result of the recent flooding to register with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) as soon as possible.
You can register either on the FEMA website, http://www.disasterassistance.gov or by phone number 1-800-621-3362.
