I haven’t seen it yet, but the great reviews for “God’s Not Dead” are rolling in and because of that, somewhat skeptical American Theater owners are having to schedule more showings at more theaters around the country. Hmmmm…. I wonder what that means? Why talk movies on this site? Because it is important when this is the topic. God is not dead. He is the Great I AM, not the Great I Was. Never doubt that. Those of us who spend time outdoors need only see a handful of sunrises or sunsets, or marvel at the wonder we are surrounded by, to have that confirmed. And never doubt this. No matter your past – sparkling as gold or dark and lonely, God wants you to live in the present, not the past. The call is to praise him and walk in obedience to him. Today. And you have to do it for yourself. Nobody can do it for you.
“Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what is behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. “
— Philippians 3:13-14
