No, the fish aren’t schooling. The fishermen are. There will be a fishing class on how to catch white perch tonight, Thursday evening, May 16, from 6:00-8:00 at the Union Parish Library.
Here’s the best part. Local Lake D’Arbonne fishing guide Steve Danna will be sharing his expertise and experience in successful white perch fishing in and around Lake D’Arbonne. Steve’s been fishing this lake and area lakes for a long time and it will be a great time to pick up some useful tips and pointers, whether you are six or 60 years old. Door prizes will be offered by Lester’s on the Lake and D’Arbonne Tackle, and more!! For more information, contact Stephanie Hermann at 368-9226. It’s free and open to the public.
Wildlife and Fisheries folks will also present information on water safety and boating regulations. Door prizes will feature some tackle and tools that you will not want to miss.

I attended the session and really enjoyed it. I did not hear him mention anything on it but do you have any info on Steve’s availability, fees, etc. for a white perch outing on D’Arbonne?
