Enjoyable

The brief description of lakedarbonnelife.com on our home page says, in part,
“People pursue outdoor activities because it’s fun, entertaining and enjoyable.

That third part — “enjoyable” — can mean catching a bunch of fish, shooting a big deer, or just paddling down the bayou in a canoe, riding around the lake in a pontoon boat or putting some new brush on the duck blind.  That’s fun in itself. But when you take the time to leave the rush of the world behind and to really look at where you are and what you are doing, you gain a deeper understanding of the joy the outdoors brings.

The joy isn’t just in the catch or the kill or the ride, it’s the experience itself.  If you watch nature, study nature — appreciate nature, you get to a whole new level of outdoor enjoyment.  Next time you’re out, give it a try.

“But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you;  or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you.  Which of all these does not know that the hand of the LORD has done this?
