Got an hour or so to become a better bass fisherman and not even have to get in the boat?
Check this out. Successful touring professional bass fisherman Jake Ormond of Sterlington will be in Farmerville as part of the Hook, Line and Sinker exhibition at the Union Parish Museum this Tuesday night, Oct. 19 at 5:30 p.m. in Discovery Place of the Museum, 211 N. Main St., Farmerville. The museum’s “Hook, Line, and Sinker” exhibit ends Oct. 29.
Jake will talk about his favorite ways to fish, techniques that can help you catch more bass and what it’s like to fish in the pressure of national bass tournaments. He’ll also field questions. The presentation will be beneficial for veteran anglers, beginners and young fishermen.
Ormond is sponsored by Bill Lewis Fishing; “Rat-L-Trap lures”; “KASTKING” for rods, reels, and line; B&L Marine in Monroe; Battery Pros in West Monroe; Ouachita Valley FCU; Sublime Wear jerseys; and AVID boats.
