Back to the basics

We’re in dire straits as a country right now. People are worried, confused and often without direction. But things are looking up when you know that God knows. It’s not about a country or a disease or politics, as bad as things may seem there. It’s about you first, and those that you love, lead and influence, like your family and friends. Know that He listens to prayers and offers peace and comfort beyond all understanding. Preachers today have an awesome task to remind folks of that, and also to go back to the basics of Christian teachings.

It’s to get caught up in worshiping worship, instead of worshiping God. No matter what the world says, if you try to sugar coat what this says below, you are on a slippery slope. Know the facts. Pray for peace. Pray for healing from this pandemic (perhaps it’s a giant alter call from God and we need to be on our knees?). Pray for our country. And pray for our pastors and churches that they have eyes to see and ears to hear God’s basic instruction.
