It’s time to start making plans for the Fourth of July and no plans could be complete in Lake D’Arbonne Country without watching the fireworks celebrating America! And there’s no better place to watch than over the water on Lake D’Arbonne. The Fourth is on Sunday this year, so the fireworks will be on Saturday night off of the Hwy. 33 bridge.
The fireworks will be shot off a barge on the water this year, so if you plan on watching by boat, make sure you know where you can and can’t go to stay safe! Be courteous of others as well.
Check it out!
And don’t forget this:
The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries reminds anglers and hunters that your fishing license expired, June 30, unless you purchased your license during the month of June in which case your license says “2021-2022” on it. LDWF encourages anglers and hunters to renew their licenses today online.
Purchasing and renewing your license can be done quickly online by visiting https://la-web.s3licensing.com/. Purchasing your license online will easily allow you to have a copy of your license emailed to you. This will allow you to save a digital copy on your mobile device, with no need to carry a printed copy. You can also buy it at designated vendors across the state.
Licenses can be purchased at designated local vendors or at the LDWF office in Baton Rouge. Acceptable methods of payment for purchases made online are Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
