Pause & reflect

I hope you are having a good long weekend. And I hope that while you are out fishing, boating, roasting hot dogs and hamburgers and the like, you take a moment to pause and reflect on what this day is and is not.

Memorial Day isn’t a celebration. It’s a somber reminder that freedom isn’t free. We honor those who died for our freedoms, even though we senselessly seem to give them away slowly each day. Fewer and fewer people remember this each year. Growing numbers don’t even value freedom anymore. Don’t be one of those. God Bless America. God Bless those who sacrificed and left so many friends and loved ones behind.
