The 2020-21 Union Parish Big Buck contest faced a lot of challenges with Covid and not being able to have a spring banquet like usual. But due to the perseverance of the contest sponsors and supporters, we do have winners! The big deer were on the move this year and Union Parish hunters got their share.
The winners were presented their checks and plaques recently at K&M Coffee, Corks and Camo.
The contest really received a boost this year when hunters no longer had to buy tickets before hunting and it opened up the contest a lot. Here’s hoping it can continue to grow and highlight the parish’s great outdoor resources!
