Not easy to hear

Proverbs 15:1 — “A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.

Sometimes, there are Bible verses that we don’t want to hear. Right? Like this one:

But they are pretty easy to understand, aren’t they? The tough part of this is when to speak up and when not to. We have a responsibility to stand up for truth and what is just, what right, what is honorable — but at the same time, there’s a right way and a wrong way to do it. I’m as guilty as anyone. I know. We have let wrong and untruths go unchallenged too long and they have taken over. Evil unchallenged just seems to grow so fast.

But what do we do?

The best way to deal with any situation, from a face-to-face discussion to a Facebook discussion is pray about it, think about it and ask ourselves, should we just walk away or will it help the greater good by diving in. Always remember the power of just stepping away. And there’s a GOOD BOOK that can help us with that. All day. Everyday.
