The first of two regular Crappie Masters professional crappie fishing tournaments in our area this year is scheduled for February 28 & 29 on Lake D’Arbonne in Farmerville. The second Crappie Masters major tournament will be out of Monroe/West Monroe on the Ouachita River May 1 & 2.
There have been a lot of changes in the payouts of the circuit and each qualifier guarantees a $10,000 payout to the winning team. Not bad crappie jig money.
Then, in September, Crappie Masters will return to Monroe/West Monroe to the Ouachita River for it’s National Championship on Sept. 23-26, 2020. That will be a hum dinger of a tournament open to the top qualifiers off the national trail this year. To enter any of the events you must pay an entry fee and be a member of Crappie Masters.
