The meme below sounds correct, but…

That relationship with God is the most important thing. But you can’t substitute sitting in a boat thinking about God for actually going and worshipping God, serving God and being in the presence of fellow believers.

A true relationship with God is a guy sitting in church or on the mission field thinking about God.

Sure you can trust in God and go fishing. You can, and should, trust in God and think about God no matter what you are doing. Being a Christian you are also supposed to fellowship with other believers. Don’t forget that “fishers of men” part…okay?
