We went fishing yesterday and had a good story to share. But that is trivial today in the wake of the loss of life, destruction and fear that last night’s devastating storm that left its trail across Lake D’Arbonne Country in Lincoln and Union parishes. Damage was especially severe in Ruston.
So today, we just suggest something that we can all do to help. Pray for the victims of this horrific weather event. Pray for the safety and stamina of the first reponders, power company employees and those leading the cleanup and rebuilding efforts on the ground. It will be a long and tedious process.
Lend a hand in any way that you can to help your neighbors. And then pray again.
