We’ve had a ton of rain today, but current conditions on Lake D’Arbonne seem to be okay. The lake is coming up some, as you can see from the measured levels (the blue line) Tuesday night. Current projections from the USGS don’t seem to point to any danger to lake properties now or in the next couple of days.
Unfortunately, there are some areas in our region who aren’t so lucky. Several lakes and rivers in south central Texas are being pounded by scary flood waters.
Take a look for yourself at this footage shot Tuesday evening at LBJ Lake and on the Colorado and Llano River areas. Keep those folks in your prayers!
