When you spend a lot of time outdoors, you just have to learn to adjust.
That’s what I did yesterday. I got to go outdoors and I figured out a way to avoid bears.
If you didn’t read Monday’s post, this won’t make any sense. But if you did read about my opening day deer hunting woes, then this will make sense.
Here’s how I avoided bears Monday!
Any questions?

Fishing report: Sunday afternoon it was beautiful and you couldn’t get another truck in the parking lot at Jake’s. And you couldn’t get another boat north of the bridge for the first 100 yards or so. There were a few reports of some fish caught on the channel last week, but Sunday fishing was apparently slow from what I could gather. That continued Monday.
But it won’t be long — maybe a couple of weeks — until the fish should start moving into concentrations in the deep water.
