The American Crappie Trail’s Matt Morgan announced the trail’s 2018 tournament schedule Wednesday night. There won’t be a regular season ACT tournament on Lake D’Arbonne in 2018, but there is a good reason. The ACT will hold it’s 2018 championship the next spring in 2019 and it will be on Lake D’Arbonne. It will be a monster event, covering three days and bringing unprecedented coverage and attention to the area.
That doesn’t mean the ACT won’t be in Lake D’Arbonne Country in 2018, though. Check out the schedule announced below. It includes a 2018 regular season tournament on the Ouachita River out of Monroe.
Just like this year, A new boat will be awarded to the winning team of each event again next year!
ACT 2018 Tournament Schedule
Neely Henry (March 16-17)
Ross Barnett Reservoir April 20-21
Kentucky Lake May 18-19
Ouachita River (Monroe) June 22-23
Truman Lake July 27-28
Grenada Lake September 14-15
National Championship
Lake D’Arbonne March 28-30, 2019
You can bet that ACT anglers prepping for the Ouachita tournament and hoping to qualify for the national championship will also make a swing by Lake D’Arbonne in 2017 to check out things here as well while they are scouting the river.
Note: Crappie Masters will continue to keep D’Arbonne on their regular season schedule. The 2018 event for Farmerville is tentatively set for February 23 & 24.
