You gotta love this story. And if you ever get one of their caps, you will love it, too. Southern Bloodline. Just three broke college baseball players at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkansas — Kyle Alexander, J.D. Speed and Ty Owens. And oh, yes, an idea.
One evening, they were sitting around their dorm room thinking about making their own hats to save money and make sure they got a good quality cap. They came up with the name, Southern Bloodline™, and the original logo with the State of Arkansas and the rivers running through it to signify their southern roots. The lifestyle we live and our southern tradition runs deep inside their veins, much like the rivers that flow across the state. It’s a part of who they — and we — are. The good news is that they also “saw the light” and then started making a Louisiana cap, too. And now there’s one for Texas. More are sure to follow.
Take a look. You can read their whole story and order a cap or two at the site below. They also have stickers for your truck window! But sorry. You can’t be the first one to get one. I’ve already got mine, hand delivered by my good friend Will Morgan (who also happens to be Ty’s grandpa).
