What?  Time to look for big bucks?  Yep, that’s right.

How about the 201 3/8 17-pointe big buck taken by Josh Clark in Claiborne, Miss., that is in first place in the annual Simmons’ Sporting Goods BIG BUCK Contest for 2016-17. You can see that deer  and many, many more celebrated and watch hunters from the region cash in on greenback bucks as well this coming weekend.

The Big Buck Contest leader board has been updated and finalized! Awards Day will be this weekend, Saturday, March 4th,  at Simmons Sporting Goods in Bastrop, Louisiana.

Everyone who made it to the leader board is invited to come out and bring their antlers to show off!. And of course, the event is open to the public. There will also be good deals in the store so you can get a good start on next year.

Buck masters will be there to start scoring deer around 10 AM and door prizes will be given away all day! REMEMBER: just because you didn’t place, if you entered any deer in the contest, you are still eligible for prizes and a chance to win the $10,000 shopping spree!
