Starting today, the 2016 BASSMaster Classic is underway in Oklahoma on Grand Lake.

Hackney
That’s an apt name for the site where 55 professional anglers fish for laregmouth bass (aka green trout) and $300,000 in prizes. The winner gets a 50 pound trophy and that’s about how many pounds of bass it will take to win the event!
Officials say more than 107,000 spectators are expected to watch the fishermen on Grand Lake and at the weigh-ins at the BOK Center in downtown Tulsa. The Tulsa Chamber’s Visitor Bureau is projecting a $29 million impact for the Tulsa area’s economy. Green trout.
Louisiana has two anglers casting for the big prize, Cliff Crochet of Pierre

Crochet
Part and Greg Hackney of Gonzales.
