Have a Blessed Thanksgiving!

horn-plenty-3467819This Thanksgiving we have a choice. We can focus on the good things, our blessings and what a great world this is. Or we can concentrate on the evil that tries to make us lose our joy and our hope.

As you enjoy this important holiday, make sure you enjoy it the right way. That starts with understanding what Thanksgiving is. It isn’t football, turkey, shopping or deer hunting. It is this, what you find when you look up the definition of “Thanksgiving”:

1. the expression of gratitude, especially to God.
2. An annual national holiday marked by religious observances and a traditional meal including turkey and family gatherings.

I hope you have a happy, safe Thanksgiving based on those two definitions!
