A strange, oddly glowing object was spotted in the Eastern sky for most of the morning yesterday over Lake D’Arbonne. Through the fog, it gave off a dim light in the form of a perfect circle. At times it was bright, as if about to shine though, even enough to make a slight reflection on the calm waters. At other times, it disappeared behind the heavy fog banks and strange looking misty clouds. The eerie condition even seemed to have an effect on the fish, slowing their feeding habits to barely a nibble.
A few old timers seemed to remember that this object once shone brightly on a regular basis. It was called “the sun”. Perhaps some time long ago, you saw this “sun” for more than a few hours at a time. But recently, unless you are living on a faraway planet, and if you are like me, you haven’t seen it near enough.
It’s supposed to come back today and some tomorrow, but then disappear once again behind clouds for a few more days….

This is a gorgeous picture Mr. Kenny….God blessed us with a beautiful sunrise this morning too!
