Calling Union Parish sportsmen, sportswomen and sportskids…get another chance for food, fun, fellowship… all for a great cause! One thing about the folks around Union Parish, it’s always a good time for these things. And this week, the 10th annual Hunters for Christ Sportsman’s Banquet will be held Saturday, February 28 at the Farmerville Recreation Center at 5:30 p.m.
The food? Barbeque.
The fun? A chance to win great door prizes, hear some great music by the Sanctuary Quartet and more.
The fellowship? Well, that’s unlimited. There will be lots of good folks, stories and sharing at the banquet.
The good cause? Funds raised at the event go to the Extreme Missionary Adventures. The event benefits Extreme Missionary Adventures, a nonprofit organization that leads mission trips all over the world. On these trips, missionaries witness to others about Christ and provide support for area pastors while helping communities in need. On past trips, the missionaries have built churches, hospitals and homes; dug wells for fresh water; and provided other acts of service.
