While limits of fish usually consume area outdoorsmen (and women), it was consuming limits of FOOD that filled up most of our time the past weekend as we celebrated Thanksgiving. I have to share a few photos from our family’s Thanksgiving feast, which included all the usuals: fried turkey, chicken and dressing, pecan crusted sweet potato casserole, deviled eggs, rolls, giblet gravy (cooked up in my grandma’s old cast iron skillet), spicy cranberry dip, pecan pie, Italian cream cake…oh, I’ve got to stop, but there was more…

And did I mention, our Thanksgiving Eve warm up? We had a great southern fried quail dinner along with collard greens and salt pork, lady peas and hot buttered rolls. Just a light pre-Thanksgiving dinner, mind you:
