When you wake up to a sunrise like this one on Lake D’Arbonne Monday, you know one thing. It’s a good day to be a fish.
That’s because nobody is going to be messing with them, tempting them to hit a crank bait or a minnow or a little red wiggly worm. And there won’t be boats running up and down the lake messing up their afternoon nap. There were a couple of vehicles and boat trailers at the ramps, but the boats weren’t very far away from the landing. Even though the barometric pressure was falling ( a good thing for making fish bite), the wind made fishing conditions a little tough. But as they say,
A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work.

You have got it made. My dream is to have that view every morning.
