Spotty teal

If you are a duck hunter, you know about greenwing teal, bluewing teal and cinnamon teal. But spotty teal?

Well, there are no “spotty” teal, but the best word to describe the recently completed three-weekend special teal season in Louisiana is “spotty”. Some folks got ’em. Some folks didn’t.  For a complete report on the teal season and more details from state waterfowl leader Larry Reynolds, check out the Jeff Simmons’ Duck Report here:

We will keep readers informed about duck seasons and news around duck hunting, but the daily duck report will be a big bonus for waterfowlers. It will be updated weekly for now, but come “big duck” season in November, there will be up-to-the-minute duck reports every day. Stay tuned.
