Sinko de Breamo

Okay, I realize I’m a week late celebrating Cinco de Mayo, the Spanish holiday meaning  “Fifth of May”.

I have my own way of celebrating, though, late or not. If I get lucky and the fish cooperate, I call it Sinko de Breamo. It’s the lake holiday to celebrate a sink full of big, tasty, fresh bream down on the boat dock!

You can keep your tostados and chalupas. I like to keep in the tradition of the holiday by fileting up some grande pescados (big fish). Then I grill them and put them in a homemade Fish Taco with some fresh avocado, mayo, salsa and a bit of lettuce, onion and cheese. Serve with Mexican corn and follow with a little siesta. Happy Sinko de Breamo!
