Inner peace

I don’t know about you, but hardly a day goes by that something doesn’t, at least for a little while,  challenge my very own personal happiness. Looking for peace and quiet is one reason that people fish and go outdoors. It’s a way to “get away from it all”. I fit that category. The bad thing about that is, unless you stay in the boat forever, then you have to come back to whatever you were getting away from to start with. There’s an easy answer to inner peace that last longer than a fishing trip:

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.  —  Philippians 4:6-7.
