Week 8 | Thanksgiving Was A Good Time To Hunt

I really hate to skip the scoring on Thanksgiving and week but it makes for one heck of a follow up week! We scored so many deer that a limit had to be put on them. All in all it was a great night spent with some great. I got to see two people I really admire bring in their first ever entries into the contest and not only did the place, they currently lead their division. Caroline Cobb with her 145 5/8” Buck and Bradley Herring with his thick horned 150 7/8” trophy.

Y’all better thank Justin Bailey for this next part. This cat sat down and came up with some stats for this year for the Union Parish Deer:

By the numbers:

Number of deer scored this week: 13

Total inches of antler scored this week: 1,947 3/8”

Total Number of deer from Union Parish this week: 5

Total number of inches from U.P. this week: 728 3/8

Total number of deer scored from U.P. this season34

Total number of inches from U.P. this season4,459 7/8”

Average deer scored from U.P. this season: 131 1/8”

Those are some very impressive numbers.

Here’s how the rest of the field currently sits:
