Union’s Fishing For The Fallen Was a Hit

It was a warm but productive Father’s Day Saturday for some of the law enforcement in Union Parish this past weekend. The very first Fishing For The Fallen was the brainchild of a few UPSO deputies and was created as a way to allow all law enforcement to fellowship with each other outside of their stressful work atmosphere. “This was started to remember our fallen law enforcement and to give back to active and retired law enforcement in Union Parish. There’s no event that gathers all police in our parish and rarely see each other unless it’s at work or on a call. The Unions Fishing for The Fallen bream tournament allows all active and retired law in Union to be able to associate with each other outside of the offices and have a chance to eat, win or receive a door prize for their immediate family, husband/wife and kids,” said Bryan Hart. For more information on how you can help with the 2024 event contact Garrick Walsworth, Ashley Rhodes, or Bryan Hart on Facebook
