Duck Dynasty is about to hatch season 10.0

The tenth season of Duck Dynasty episodes featuring the Robertson Family of West Monroe is back with two back-to-back episodes Wednesday, July 6 starting at 8 p.m. on the A&E channel.

I get a kick out of reading some of the “negative” reviews on the DD series, like “Dynasty ratings continue to drop”. What that meant was last season only three something million people watched each episode. Sure, that’s  down from a high of 10 million, but what other venue focuses millions of people on this region in a positive light?

None.

Duck Dynasty brought a hilarious and refreshing change to reality TV and I’m a fan. Their just human — and they’ll be the first to tell you that — but they share their lives,  Christian values and personalities like nobody else ever before on television. And they’ve basically given up their own personal privacy in the process. It has put our area on the map.  In a really good way. No matter where we travel — even as far north as Maine, no less — when people find out we are from Louisiana, they say, “oh, from Duck Dynasty country!”
