Crappie Masters; Crappie Commanders

Just a reminder: The last day to enter the upcoming April 18  Lake D’Arbonne/Caney/Claiborne Crappie Masters tournament is Saturday, May 4. After that you must pay a late fee. This will be the first major crappie tournament ever in Louisiana and also the first Crappie Masters tourney held in our state.

Even though pros from all over the country fish these events, most are won by local lake fishermen! That means you’ve got as good a chance as they do. Crappie Masters encourages local participation! This tournament will also be special because of two of the contestants — Duck Commanders Jay Stone and John Godwin!  They love crappie fishing on D’Arbonne and, in fact, are on the lake today filming a crappie show for Krappie King Television with host Karl Kalonka.
