Those of us who fish Lake D’Arbonne on a regular basis may take some things like a beautiful sunrise or fishy looking spots for granted. One new visitor to the lake, who I have been corresponding with the past few months, gives his impression of his first Fall trip to the lake on his own blog, “Looknfishy”.
He wrote me a short note after the trip: “Hi Kinny, I finally made it to the lake this Saturday. The fishing wasn’t great but I wasn’t expecting much on my 1st trip and due to the cold front that we had over the weekend. However, I thought the lake was fantastic. Looking forward to my next trip. This trip I went to the state park but I’ll explore some other areas next time. Of course I wrote about my experience in my blog. Just wanted to let you know how it went.”
It’s located at:

Take a look, I think you’ll enjoy it. And it may help you have a better appreciation of the lake and what it has to offer next time you go!

I always enjoy reading your posts. Thanks for the shout out!!
