As we tidied up a bit this weekend, a small guest told me something I should have thought of myself. As we brought down the box to put Easter decorations in as we took them down, my granddaughter protested. But Easter was last weekend, we told her.
No way, she said. “It’s still Easter”.
Toe pain. Stepped right on my toes. She’s right. We should still be celebrating Easter. All day, every day. And seek his Kingdom in all we do. All “Easter” long…
Matthew 6:33-34:
33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
