This cold weather has been awful. And it isn’t over. For Tuesday the Lake D’Arbonne is looking like it’s going to be like a beautiful spring day…yeah, like a beautiful spring day on LAKE SASKATCHEWAN!!!
The weather makes me feel like I’m being held captive. Some people call this “cabin fever”. I call it “cabin JAIL fever”. Let me out, please. I know. This will pass. It works the same way as the Christian life and our hope in Jesus. When things look bad, they are going to get better.
This photo was taken when things seemed pretty bleak on the lake recently. But even though my shaking hands made it difficult to focus, look how pretty it really was. There is hope!
“Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing,
that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13
When God is your hope, better things are always just ahead. Or they may be right in front of you. Quit shaking and just look.
