Fireworks Saturday – be there!

There’s not a whole lot you can say about fireworks. Except maybe a good fireworks show is worth several thousand words….

Such are the stars of the show of the upcoming annual Fireworks Display over Lake D’Arbonne, set for this Saturday night, July 6.  They are beautiful to watch. Fireworks over the lake are just something special. And the ability to park all up and down the highway, even pack a tailgate, and watch right on the bank of the lake — well — you just can’t beat that. And the Fourth of July holiday without fireworks is like a hot dogs without a bun. So be there. The kids will love it, young and old.

Here are the details: 9 p.m. Saturday night, July 6 at the Hwy. 33 bridge in Farmerville. Get there early and get a good spot.  And enjoy.  Thanks to the donors who make this possible. What else can I say?  Oh, I know.  Here’s something else. If you aren’t flying an American flag from your house, your boat dock, your boat or somewhere, there’s no better time in the history of our country to do it. Get ‘er done.
