Pardon the interruption….

We interrupt our regular broadcast (part three of Lake Lessons will continue Friday) to bring you this very special message:   It’s Valentine’s, roses, candy     ….     and alligators.

Pruitt & LaDarte debut on Swamp People tonight

Pruitt & LaDarte debut on Swamp People tonight

Swamp People, Season Four, begins TONIGHT at 8 p.m. on the History Channel. There’s a distinct north Louisiana flavor this year with Ouachita River area gator hunters David LaDarte and Jeromy Pruitt getting in on the action. LaDarte is Pruitt’s stepfather and taught Jeromy how to hunt gators, according to their History Channel bios, They are from Marion. The guys have been known to wrestle and lasso some of the biggest gators in Louisiana. Jeromy has been granted special access to hunt on a “local nature reserve” and is determined to set the state record this year.  According to promos, the two are trying to hunt down the Beast of the East, a legendary massive gator.  The duo will be the first to take on gators like this without putting a bullet in the gators’ head. This should be interesting! Maybe scary is the right word. I don’t know much more than that, other than the regulars like Troy and Lizbeth and the rest will be back. As for the rest, I’ll have to find out right along with you. Choot ’em.

If you are really “eaten up” (sorry) with the show, you can also join  http://histv.co/SwampNation

Note to Duck Dynasty fans:   Hey, Jack — the new season begins Wednesday, Feb. 27!!!!  beards
