Crappie Limit Now 25

New Limit on D’Arbonne Lake Crappie NOW in Effect

We ran this Thursday afternoon, but it is important news worth repeating this morning:

The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries would like to remind anglers that the daily creel limit for crappie in D’Arbonne Lake is now 25.  The change from 50 to 25 fish was approved by the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission in response to concerns of overfishing that some anglers had expressed.

The D’Arbonne Lake Commission is placing signs at launch ramps to help inform anglers and has sent the news to the papers, but it is also important to let everyone that you can know about this news.
