Lake life

Wow! Now it’s your turn. . .

Lakedarbonnelife.com has been up and running for three weeks. In those three weeks, we’ve had nearly 4,000 people view the pages. Yesterday was our biggest day so far — over 400 views.  Thank you!  So far, we’ve spread the word by e-mail, attending a couple of sportsman’s shows and just word of mouth. We’re doing our best to make this a site you can go to everyday and be proud of the outdoors and this area we live in.

Now it’s your turn.  We’d like to ask you to take it a step further. If you have friends and co-workers that like the outdoors, live on the lake or just like Lake D’Arbonne Country (or any lake country for that matter!), send them to link and ask them to check it out.

My very own lakedarbonnelife.com Fan Club!

Also, if you would like to receive an e-mail when we place a new post like yesterday’s “Mother Nature in a Good Mood ”, simply look at the top right area of the home page and click on “subscribe”. It will automatically send you an e-mail update when we post something new.

And if you “like” us, make it official.  After you click on “continue reading” there is a “Like” button with a blue star beside it in the lower left hand part of the page.  Click that to let us know that you like it.  You won’t be put on any mailing lists and no brush salesman will show up at your door or start calling you.   We’ll just have a better record of how folks view the site.

And one more short cast — you can click on the “comment” button located at the top of each article and write us a short note about what you liked or didn’t like about the day’s post. We had several great comments yesterday. Thank you very much.  And, if you’ve got any ideas for something you’d like to see on the site, send us a sentence or two.

We want to continue to grow this site and make it a part of everyday outdoor living in northeast Louisiana. Our home is Lake D’Arbonne, but our footprint is much bigger. We want to cover lake life and the outdoors for anybody who’s interested. Thanks for letting us take the time to ask for your input. Have a great day!
